Why Virtual Onboarding Requires Extra Attention
Remote employees miss the organic integration that happens in physical offices. They can't overhear conversations, pop into offices, or learn culture through observation. Virtual onboarding must be more intentional to compensate.
Done well, virtual onboarding sets new hires up for long-term success. Done poorly, it leads to disengagement, confusion, and early turnover.
