EON Applications, Inc., a Texas corporation ("EON," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the applicant tracking and talent acquisition software system called AcquireTM, found at AcquireTM.com (the "Application"). The Application enables companies to post job openings and manage applicant data through the hiring process.

We maintain separate privacy policies for our two distinct user categories:

Privacy Policy for Corporate Users

For employees and contractors of hiring companies

1. Consent and Scope

By using the Application, you consent to this Privacy Policy covering the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.

3. Cookies and Tracking

The system assigns unique identifiers via cookies to enable seamless platform access. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may limit platform functionality.

4. Personal Profiles

Your account contains information such as email address, name, job title, and contact information. You control access through passwords and can review and update your information at any time.

6. Disclosure of Information

7. Data Security & Retention

EON employs industry-standard security measures including encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your personal information.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services. When an account and its data are deleted, associated data is removed within 120 days.

Customer Configuration & Responsibility

AcquireTM provides features and controls to help Corporate Users meet their privacy and data-protection obligations, including under laws such as GDPR and CCPA/CPRA. Each Corporate User is responsible for configuring these settings and for its own compliance, and acts as the data controller for the applicant data it collects. EON provides the platform and acts as a processor on behalf of the Corporate User.

9. California Privacy Rights

California residents may request information about personal data shared with third parties pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83-1798.84.

10. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Privacy Policy for Applicants

For job seekers applying through our platform

1. Consent

By using the Application to submit job applications, you accept this Privacy Policy and grant permission for EON to collect, use, and disclose your personal information as described herein.

3. Data Ownership

Important Notice

EON does not own your application data. Information you submit becomes the property of the Corporate User (employer) receiving your application. EON acts as a processor on behalf of employers.

We use cookies to facilitate job applications and prevent duplicate submissions. You may disable cookies in your browser, though this may limit certain features.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

When we use advertising and analytics providers such as Google and Meta, our sharing of certain data with them for advertising may be considered a “sale” or “share” under California law (CPRA). You can opt out at any time using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer, or by rejecting non-essential cookies in our cookie banner.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption and secure data transmission protocols to protect your personal information.

8. Third-Party Links

The Application may contain links to external websites. EON is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

9. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Job seekers who are minors (age 13 or older) may apply through an employer's career site where permitted by applicable employment laws and the employer's requirements.

10. Data Removal and Retention

Important

Your application data is owned by the Corporate User (employer) you applied to. We facilitate removal requests by working with that employer, but final decisions about retaining or deleting the data rest with the employer as the data owner. To start a removal request, contact the hiring company you applied to, or reach out to us and we will help coordinate. When an account and its data are deleted, associated data is removed within 120 days.

11. California Privacy Rights

California residents have rights under CCPA and may request privacy notices pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83-1798.84.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use indicates acceptance.
